Quick 'n' Easy HTML Filesize Reducer
A byte shaved is bandwidth saved.

You can often reduce the filesize (thus increase the speed) of web pages by eliminating unneeded things (multiple spaces, extra returns, etc.) in your web page's HTML. There is no need for your visitors to download extra bytes that they can't see. You can also decrease the load on your server by not serving these extra bytes.

This page requires a JavaScript-enabled browser.

You have JavaScript disabled or a browser that doesn't support JavaScript.
1. Copy the HTML code from your text editor and past it into this text area.

2. Choose one of these buttons.

Actually, well-written JavaScript that includes semi-colons where needed can use the upper button as well.

(Depending on the page being "cleaned", you may need to click these buttons more than once for maxiumum "cleaning" to take place.

3. Copy what's in the text area, paste it back into your text editor, then save it as a web page.

Special Notes - Warning & Suggestion

I have something better.

This is just the beginning of a JavaScript version. See my Perl CGI Page Cleaner. It's much more effective. However, since it requires reconnecting to our server, it will be slower. Eventually, I'll try to fix this page so it can do everything that my other PAGE CLEANER can do.
